Teraffem is a Detroit-based critical-minerals company working across strategic intelligence, project development, partnerships, processing, advanced materials, manufacturing and global supply-chain development.
To build commercially viable pathways connecting African critical-mineral and rare-earth opportunities with capital, technology, processing, manufacturing and downstream markets while advancing responsible development, local value creation and shared prosperity.
A more resilient and diversified global critical-minerals ecosystem in which resource-producing markets participate meaningfully in processing, value addition and industrial growth while downstream industries gain dependable access to strategic minerals and materials.
Teraffem is based in Detroit, a city whose history is deeply connected to manufacturing, mobility, engineering and the development of complex industrial supply chains.
As critical minerals and rare earths become increasingly important to advanced manufacturing, energy technologies, permanent magnets, mobility and other strategic industries, Detroit provides a strong base from which to engage the broader U.S. industrial ecosystem.
Teraffem is evaluating how international mineral relationships can connect with technical expertise, manufacturers, research institutions, capital networks and commercial relationships across Michigan, the Midwest and the wider United States.
Teraffem's long-term strategy is built around the relationships, intelligence and development pathways required to move strategic minerals through increasingly valuable stages of the supply chain.
Connecting credible mineral opportunities with strategic demand and market intelligence.
Advancing pathways for beneficiation, refining, separation and value addition.
Connecting supply with rare-earth, advanced-material and permanent-magnet value chains.
Connecting materials with downstream industrial and advanced-manufacturing demand.
Aligning investment, strategic partnerships, market access and potential offtake relationships.
Critical-mineral supply chains cannot be developed in isolation. Mineral producers need processing technologies, project-development expertise, investment and markets. Manufacturers need greater visibility into diversified and dependable sources of strategic minerals and materials.
Teraffem works between these groups to help build the commercial, technical and institutional relationships required for stronger supply-chain development.
Our long-term objective is to help create an ecosystem where mineral supply, processing, advanced materials, rare earths, permanent magnets, manufacturing, research, technology, investment and market demand can interact more effectively.
Teraffem's leadership brings together mineral-sector knowledge, business strategy, project development, international engagement and strategic partnership experience across critical-mineral and rare-earth value chains.
Stanley Kpenkaan founded Teraffem with an academic background that combines a B.Sc. in Geology with an MBA, providing both technical grounding in mineral systems and a commercial perspective on how mineral opportunities move from resource potential toward viable projects and markets.
His international travel and direct engagement in mineral-producing markets have further shaped his understanding of the sector. His experience includes engagement with industry stakeholders and mine-site exposure in Uganda, providing first-hand insight into mineral development, infrastructure, investment conditions and the realities of connecting projects with international markets.
This combination of geological study, business training and international exposure informs Teraffem's approach to project identification, commercial positioning and the development of relationships across mineral supply, technology, processing, capital and downstream industry.
Kuziva Masomere serves as Founding Principal, Partnerships & Development at Teraffem, leading strategic partnership development, business development, project development and international engagement across the company's critical-minerals and rare-earth materials work.
She brings more than 10 years of experience leading and supporting large-scale change efforts across government, nonprofit and community-based systems, with a background spanning cross-sector partnership development, stakeholder engagement, systems strategy, project management and organizational development.
With a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Public Health, Kuziva also brings a perspective grounded in sustainability, environmental impact, community development and the broader social and economic implications of major mineral and industrial projects. Her work at Teraffem focuses on translating that cross-sector experience into commercially relevant partnerships, project-development pathways and international relationships.
We welcome conversations with industry professionals, technical experts, researchers, project developers, investors, institutions and strategic partners interested in advancing critical-mineral and rare-earth value chains.
Teraffem works across countries, industries, institutions and communities. We believe the way mineral-development relationships are structured matters as much as the opportunity itself.
Our values reflect a commitment to commercially credible partnerships that also support local participation, beneficiation, industrial development, environmental responsibility and long-term economic value.
Supporting pathways that enable resource-producing markets to capture greater economic and industrial value from their mineral resources.
Advancing opportunities with consideration for long-term environmental, economic, social and institutional outcomes.
Building partnerships intended to create mutual commercial value while expanding opportunity across participating markets.
Developing trusted relationships across governments, industry, capital, technology and downstream markets.
Supporting greater participation in processing, technical capability and industrial activity beyond raw-material extraction.
Prioritizing commercial pathways capable of contributing to resilient supply chains, industrial development and sustained value creation.
